5 STEPS TO PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST, or any relationship
When ever I am faced with difficulties, I don't focus on the difficulty, I focus or ask for guidance for a solution. Today I saw all the wounded people, young and old in Israel and Palestine. This is what came to me after I prayed for a solution.
1. Don't Take Sides,
Take the human side. It is the side we all have in common.
2. Don't Blame
When you blame, you give away your power to create change in the
Not to be confused with condoning what is going on, it is to forgive and
release all the destructive energy that you are holding onto around
the situation. To forgive is to let go of being the victim and to move on
with your life in a more positive state of being.
4. Focus on the Solution,
Not what you are experiencing now. What you focus on expands.
5. If you find yourselves polarized then both sides need to come more toward the middle. You are just stuck in the duality. We have the ability to move beyond duality.
I woke up this morning to the stillness.
As I sat looking at the glass like
lake with the reflection of the clouds
and the mornings sunrise,
I felt at peace.
It was a Monday morning and as my mind
drifted to the agenda of the day,
I couldn't help but think,
Why do I believe that being still is not
Our society teaches us that we
must do and do and do.
The more we do, the more important
we must look.
If we just sit in stillness,
we are lazy,
and won't amount to much.
is that really true?
Some of the most successful people of
all times were considered dreamers.
Allow yourself down time to be still
and just dream, contemplate,
envision, or just drink in the view.
No agenda, just allow the thoughts
to come to you.
In the stillness Clarity will prevail.

This moon, like no other moon has
asked me to be my most
There is a lot of static
out here on earth.
Sometimes it can knock you off your path.
This moon just reminds me who I am
and that only for a moment,
it may seem like I am not going to find my way,
but when I tap into who I really am,
I will always find my way.

of who I am.

The Perfect Wave
This weekend, as I sat on the beach watching the surfers
waiting for that perfect wave, I couldn't help but notice
a pattern developing. Waves come in so many different
sizes and intensities. It's the big waves that the surfers long
for, but I couldn't help but notice that some of the surfers took
the lesser waves, waves that took them nowhere, while other
surfers were more particular about taking their waves and waited for that perfect wave to take them where they wanted to go.
Today I happened to glance at a magazine whe Iyanla Vanzant wrote an article on SETTLING. How do we know when we are settling?
When you look at this bird, the first thing that comes to mind is Proud, Proud Bird is the name of the photograph. When you look at all the people celebrating our nations birth on the 4th, you can't help but to see the pride of Americans for what our founding fathers created. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. " Some times through history we stray from our original goals, but if we have a good foundation, like the Declaration of Independence, we can return to basics and regain our Faith in our government, country, and our founding systems.
