You have created a global community. One that has overcome the Covid-19 virus. You did this by working together and sharing information. Together as a collective, you sheltered in place, not only to protect yourselves but to unselfishly protect others. You valued life over financial gain. You sacrificed for the sake of the whole and you won the battle over the virus. This is the message that came through early this morning to both my husband and I.
I want to say that not all members of humanity did this, but enough of us did that we helped end this experience. An experience like no other in our lifetimes. So now we reap the benefits from this experience. We now know that we can work together for the sake of others and the sake of the planet. We will need to remember this as we move ahead to address just as big of a situation, global warming and restoration of the planet. We have seen acts of compassion and acts of service toward a greater good. We have seen acts of charity and the desire to share what we have with those who are less fortunate, also for the greater good. We have come to value Science, our Doctors, Our wisdom keepers and teachers. We have craved a connection with one another. We have said no to negativity on the air waves and yes to positivism. No longer looking toward our leaders, but being lead inwardly to find our own answers. Also being lead to those speaking truth in their integrity of the word.
What is next? Now we take these lessons seriously as they will lead us down a much better path then we were on before. Some call this the end times and they are. This does not have to mean the end of our existence, It can also mean the end of a way of being. the end of an era. We now have a possibility of creating a new era. One based in Love and caring, Not greed and suffering. One where we take the time to know ourselves better, instead of rushing around in overwhelm and at the edge of collapse. We can take better care of ourselves by communicating with our bodies to know what the body needs to thrive. To take care of our planet and clean up after ourselves. Clean the water and keep it clean, Clean the air and keep it clean. etc. Grow our crops without harmful chemicals. Trust our ability to heal now and stay connected, Working together for the greater good of all.
hLast night I awoke to an image of a glacier. A message had come though and I laid in bed as the awareness came through. So much information comes to me with what I call a download. This message, I am told comes from Mother Earth. I don't usually share these because most of my friends are unaware that I am clairvoyant and I like to keep it that way. But now times are different, more challenging and serious so I have decided to come out of hiding and just share when I believe that the message is not just for me but humanity as a whole.
This message is about human energy and how it is affecting the earth. Last week I attended an online meditation for the earth. It was attended by several thousand people meditating all at once creating a unified field across the planet. The goal was to try to raise the frequency of the planet. In Russia, the frequency of the planet was measured and at the exact time that we had our meditation, there was an increase in the earth's frequency. The desire was to have enough people on the call , several million, so that the shift in frequency was enough to have a lasting effect. You see, we humans are far more powerful than we can even imagine. Our state of being has an enormous effect on the earth. When we are in fear, anger, and even worse, hate, we put that low frequency or vibration out into the unified field and it not only effects you, but those around you. As the numbers of people all over the earth start vibrating as these lower levels the earth itself is effected. Part of what we are experiencing with global warming is caused by this negative energy that humans are putting out into the world. These lower frequencies effect not only the health of the planet but the health of humanity.
Last night I heard a soft and loving voice say release your anger, forgive, now is the time. This is when I was shown the glacier. Water, oxygen, breath, equals life. With out any of these we are on a course toward human extinction. We knew it was coming, it had been prophesied by many of the indigenous tribes. Many of these state that when the time comes, these is a possibility of changing the outcome and instead of so much death and destruction, we can build a golden era of peace and harmony on earth. Well, I believe we are at that precipice and we are being asked to choose. Continue on the same path that we have been on with over consumption, destruction of the air we breath, the water we drink, and the poisoning of the food we grow with toxic chemicals we will have no other outcome but extinction. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.
We have fallen asleep and let the lower frequency lead us to destruction. It is time to awaken and work hard at raising our vibration. Controlling our own thoughts and being the humanity that I know we can be. You can not be in LOVE and Fear at the same time. You can not be in LOVE and hate at the same time. They are two opposing vibrations. It is interesting to note that you can never make a good decision when you are in fear. You are likely to look outside of yourself for your answers. When the frequency is as low as it is now, there is no clarity. That is why thousands of people all over the planet are attempting to raise above their fears, anger, resentment, etc. to gain clarity. It will take this clarity to make a shift from self destruction. Where do we start this shift?
I was told with releasing our anger. Yes things are not being done correctly on the planet and we are angry with our leaders but we can only make things worse when we succumb to anger. Releasing it doesn't mean that we are ignoring what is going on. It means that you do not allow a low vibration to dictate how we go about changing things. So we must let go of anger, return to optimism, return to our hearts where wisdom resides, and from this place, create change. There are many programs that teach forgiveness and how to release energy blockages from our bodies. Take some classes. List the many things you are angry about on a piece of paper, and with your intent to let go of your anger around these things, tear it up, burn it and let it go. Then forgive those who angered you. In doing so you release their energy. You don't have to forget or agree to what has been done. When your anger is released, you are set free to move on. Your vibration can rise up to a higher level and you can live again. Don't let others pull you down. If you feel you are getting depressed by listening to a negative news conference, Turn it off and listen to some beautiful music or meditate. Be mindful of where your mind is being taken. Do not follow those who lead in fear and anger. Rise up. The earth is asking us to rise. May God bless us on this journey and may we take charge of our lives and our hearts.
,Many devastating events, once sat with, and experienced are like a double edged sword. It comes with pain and suffering like my bout with breast cancer in 2001 and 2016. First there is fear which comes in waves. Then there is the discomfort of the treatments which almost killed me in 2001. Then there is a time of convalescence where we lie quietly and come to terms with our disease. If you take advantage of this time, you can come to a greater understanding of why you? Why now? and how can you heal. This comes when you can stop blaming others, stop blaming yourselves, and look at cancer, or any disease as a wake up call and a gift. For me, the first go around had to do with being a healer to others and filling others cups with my energy but not filling mine. I learned that you have to "have, in order to give." What that meant for me was that I was so busy filling other peoples cup that I was running out of energy for my very existence. I was so busy giving that I forgot to receive, to fill up, and in the process, I was about to loose myself. How many parents , service oriented professionals, teachers, and healers can relate. Cancer kicked my butt, sat me down in time out, and began to teach me lessons. I learned many more than just one. I grew spiritually and became empowered in my life. I became a better person and a better healer.
So now , here we are, hunkered down in our homes. Not one of us has been kicked in the butt by a virus, but every single one of us are affected in some way. Why us? Why Now? I asked in meditation and the answers started to flow. Here are some.
We sit at the precipice of extinction. We need a time out to take a look in a global way, just as cancer made me take a look at where my actions ware leading me. Humanity is being asked to take a look at what we are doing to our planet, our source for life. We are polluting the air, our source for breath. Breath is life moving through us. We are polluting our waters. Our bodies are made up of 60% water. We are putting harmful chemicals on our fruits, grains, and vegetables and it's poisoning not only the butterflies, birds, and the bees, it is poisoning the humans like me. We do it in the name of efficiency and ultimately greed. The animals are dying in record numbers, the planet is warming, what more do we need to stop and take pause to really see, really see what we are doing to ourselves and others.
A global epidemic. This virus is telling us that we are next, unless we stop and drastically change our lives, our values, and our actions.
We will know that change is working when the animal populations start to come back. When the weather begins to calm. When we see that we are all in this together and our solution must be global. Humans working together to heal humanity. You see from this event that we are not that different from one another after all. We are one humanity and we can heal. Just as I healed in 2001.
So when you are home, hunkering down, ask the bigger questions and I am sure , just like me, you will get the bigger answers. In love and gratitude for life, Margot Carrera
Join me for the opening of the February art show. I will be there from 7 pm - 9 pm. I have two pieces in the show. Blue Heron which won 2nd place in the Photography category, and I Love Butterflies, which is a photograph of a colorful butterfly with a red heart on it's chest.
January has brought in a new Gallery exhibition at the OffTrack Gallery in Encinitas, Ca. It is my first show of the year in a new gallery so I went in with zero expectations. I arrived at the gallery to take pictures for the first place winning images but the Judge was still going through all the entries so I met a friend for lunch and told him I would return in an hour. I had a lovely lunch and caught up with all the happenings in my friends life, never thinking twice about the judging going on. I returned as promised after lunch and was give a list of the winning images to photograph for the gallery. Then I set out to find each print or item in each category and took the picture. When it came to photography, I saw the name, Margot and thought to myself, Oh, they must have another Margot showing here, but then I saw the last name Carrera. My mouth dropped in surprise and the other artists working around me began to smile sheepishly. They knew that I had won but they wanted me to find out for myself so that had said nothing. I am happy to share that I won first place in the photography category. More correctly, I should say that Blue Iris won best photograph.
Blue Iris is a blend of Photography and painting. Often when a background is too busy and takes away from the beauty of the central image, I will paint in the background. I named this technique, Painterly photography. This photograph was taken at an amazing garden in Northern California that grows only roses and Irises. They had about 20 different varieties in numerous colors. It was truly a feast for the eyes.
Blue Iris will be showing at the OffTrack gallery in Encinitas, Ca. until January 28th and is for sale. Also showing is my art glass tray, called Lily Pond. Shown below.
Each artist sees the world differently. That is why there are so many different versions of the same image that can be presented and none come out exactly the same. This is what I love about art. In the last posting, I told you about my experience with cancer and one of the ways it has effected my art. Today, I will share the way that my love of nature has effected my artistic impression.
When I am out in nature photographing, there is a sense that I am in someway communicating with my subject. I believe that everything has a consciousness. They may not communicate in the same way but there is communication going on. That is why when I am walking through a forest I feel a certain sense of peace, Not all forests feel the same to me. In Alaska, I felt a primordial feeling that I have never had before. The mist was rising through the trees and I felt like the trees were taking a deep breath while drinking in the moisture. It was one of those moments that I can not adequately describe in words but it will inevitability be inscribed in my memory. It was as if I was part of the forest and the forest was part me.
This sense of unity, of being part of the whole has helped to evolve my art to a new level. It is a sensing, feeling, level of communicating with my subject. My goal is to carry on that original feeling or sense to the viewer as well. So when you see my art or even better, go out into nature, you open up to a new level of communication with your environment. Allow the vision to provide you with it's message. If we connect with nature at this level, we just may be able to all exist together without harming one another. You will come to see, that if we are harming one another, we are also harming ourselves.

Specialties: Nature Photography, Living Art, Digital Art and Design, Healing Arts, Feng Shui. Margot Sherry Bogdanow-Carrera’s lifelong dedication to nature photography, her preferred art form for portraying this Earth, the planet unto which we are born and bound to preserve, is evident throughout her website: www.CarreraFineArt.com. Nature, in return, provides us with everything necessary for the spiritual journey we take while we remain on Earth. Too many of us, preoccupied with our daily struggle to survive, have lost sight of that promise, forgetting that if we had cared for Earth, there would be no struggle. Margot Carrera’s avowed insightful and artistic intent is to remind humankind of their connection to and with Nature, to remember that every one of us are – or should be – devoted stewards of this Earth. One can readily observe her special bond with every object she photographs and how this inspires each memorable image. “When you look at my website,” says Carrera, “you will discover at least one singular image that speaks directly to you and helps you to recall your own beautiful connection to Earth."
